Time change

I LOVE the time change for one reason.......more hours of sunlight.  Oh, how I have missed the longer evenings.  It just warms my heart to have that extra time with the sun everyday.  I sometimes forget how much I love it when I am adjusting to the hour difference, but I do.  For example, it is 6:45 and I haven't fed my kids and bed time is at 8:30 and the getting up in the morning is SOOOO hard.  BUT....then the longer day sets in and I think, "oh yeah, that is why I love the time change!"

What have I been up too.............

CLEANING!  I have been cleaning on my house trying to keep it at a constant state of shine.  Why, you ask??? Well, because we are trying to sell it (or sale it).  Anyway, it is for sale (I know that one is right :))  AND, I have to say that it seems popular and it isn't even on the market.  We have one couple really interested in it.  We had a call yesterday from another family, which ended up in a not interested because they need a 4 bedroom.  I don't know what people think is in this little 1100 sq ft house but it isn't 4 bedrooms that is for sure.  I guess I think that is obvious but maybe not.  Then, we had another call today and Zach will call that guy back tonight.  It is overwhelming and such a blessing that so many are interested.  BUT....that means I have to stay on top of the cleanliness of my house.  I have showed it 3 time so far.  Mom came up a couple of weeks ago and helped a lot, I mean A LOT, on removing clutter and cleaning this house.  It was so nice to have her here.  I sometimes wish she was here a month at a time every now and then.  I mean she is retired, but I am not sure dad would want to share her that long.  So, we are hoping to be able to move and get a 3 or 4 bedroom home ourselves.  Just a house would 2 potties would tickle me pink!

Let's see, what else.........oh yeah, "A" lost his first tooth.  It was quite a shock.  I am not sure it wasn't knocked out, but I have no way to know that.  It is the correct tooth to be losing first, he is the right age to lose one, but it was a very sudden thing.  So, who knows.  He was excited to say the least because Tooth Fairy money is the best kind of money.

What else.......hmmm. Oh yes, we had a fun Sunday a couple of week ago.  We had a hot air balloon land on our street and the kids got to help in the taking down part of it.  They really like that.

We have been sick a lot since school started back after Christmas break.  No throw-ups (thank goodness) but plenty of colds.  I am kind of sick of them.  My kids are sick right now with, I think,   round 4 of colds.  It's the pits but it isn't the throw-ups so I will take it, I guess?!?

"R" turned 1 today (March 9th).  Can you believe it????  I honestly don't know what I did for the last year.  It is kind of a blur.  Maybe that is because I was raising another baby or maybe old age sets in at 35.  I don't know, but WOW.  I keep saying things like, "I will get through the start of school and my September 8th birthdays and things will slow down", or "I will get through Christmas and things will slow down" etc.  I have decided that is a pipe dream and I should not expect any slow downs until..............I don't know..............I die, I guess.  I guess if I am going to see friends and do fun activities they are just going to have to hitch a ride or I will have to sling them on this run away train of a life I have.  :)

I am hoping to go to the state basketball tournament this weekend in Golden, but it isn't looking promising at the moment.

The family is coming up next week to go skiing.  I am looking forward to that.  I didn't get to see my oldest brother at the holidays this year so I will be happy to get to see him.  AND......(no offense to the Ketchum side of the family) I am soooo excited to get sit around and play games with my family.  I love to play games and these get-togethers are the only time I get to do that.  So, it looks like March is filled up........see what I mean.  I guess I will be back on here in April.....:)

Happy long, sunshine filled days everyone.
