"Selfie"

First let me state a fact.  I am not a "selfie" person when it comes to pictures.  I think they are a ridiculous fad of our time.  I think most of the time they are horrible pictures and most of them say a lot about the person or maybe I should say they give the wrong impression of a person even if they aren't trying to do that.  That being said, not everyone falls into that category, but I still am not a fan.  I also should point out that I am not against having my picture taken.  I actually am quite happy to have it taken if someone wants to take it.  I know not everyone will see the distinction, but for me there is one.  So, taking these pictures are not a highlight in my life, but I keep forgetting to have Zach take my picture and I did promise one several days ago.  So here I am going against my principles.

I am at 39+ weeks.  Actually it is Thursday and I am due on Sunday so 4 days away.  As I look at these pictures I don't think they do me justice for just how big I am.  I am definitely all in front, but either I have a skewed idea of my big belly or the camera didn't add 10 pounds this time.  Anyway that being said I have never waddled the way I waddle with this baby and I have never had to lean back, arching my back, to just feel like I can walk upright with any of my other pregnancies so yeah, I have a belly on me........=)  We are getting excited to meet this little boy or girl.  Of course we have a stream of weather over the next several days.  It has been spring weather around here, but we are expecting snow now through Sunday.

That whole last paragraph seems like all I have to say is some kind of complaint.  I don't mean it that way, it is just funny how things work out.  So now, we wait and pray that God holds us in his hands and takes care of the birth of this baby and the change in our growing family.

On a side note:  If you have not had cinnamon melts from McDonald's make it a point to try one in the next week and don't send me hate mail if you can't keep yourself from eating them regularly!
